Lake Oswego Pickleball Club Pro Exhibition

Pro exhibition, mini-clinic led by the pros, open play/social, food & beverages, raffle prizes valued at over $5,000

THE PROS

 

WES GABRIELSEN

As an experienced tennis player and coach, Wes had been familiar with pickleball since middle school. He is an 11-time USAPA Nationals champion, two-time Tournament of Champions winner, and a two-time US Open champion.

BONNIE WILLIAMS

A former NAIA All-American tennis player, Bonnie picked up pickleball when rehabbing an ACL injury. Since switching to pickleball, she is a seven-time USAPA Nationals champion, four-time Tournament of Champions winner, and a three-time US Open champion.

TONY TOLLENAAR

Tony grew up competing in tennis and racquetball, played college baseball and has competed in four Ironman Distance Triathlons. While he has spent much of his life teaching tennis as a certified USTA professional, over the past several years he parlayed his combined athletic skills into the sport of pickleball, and today is one of the country’s premier professional players, competing in tournaments nationwide.

ERIK LANGE

Erik, as the Regional Sales Manager for HEAD/Penn Racquet Sports, combines his day job with his passion for racquet sports.  He’s competed in high-level tennis and just started playing pickleball two years ago.  Since then, Erik has won gold in the Men’s 35+ Doubles and bronze in Mixed Doubles at the 2019 US Open.  He also placed third in Men’s Pro Doubles at the International Indoor Pickleball Championship in Centralia, WA.  In 2018 Erik won that same IIPC tournament.  He’s also 6’4… which happens to help in pickleball!

TRACIE DEJAGER-HALE

Tracie, a former triathlete now sponsored by Selkirk, took a three-year hiatus from pickleball to start a family. Now back in the game with a 5.8 UTPR, Tracie had a top-ten finish at the 2018 USAPA Nationals with consistent titles and podium finishes in regional events.

WILLIAM GARDNER

William is a three-time USAPA Nationals Junior champion. Pickleball runs in his family and Wes Gabrielsen is his coach so he's destined to continue his fast rise to pickleball stardom!

JOY LEISING

Joy played competitive junior USTA and high
school tennis and played college tennis and coached. Since then, she continued her tennis coaching career and competed nationally. She picked up pickleball six years ago and has medaled at several Nationals events. Today, with a PPR certification, she teaches both pickleball and tennis.

MICHELLE ESQUIVEL

Michelle is a USAPA Nationals champion and medalist in Women’s 5.0, 19+ singles and medalist in several Open events. Originally from Southern California, Michelle comes from an extensive tennis background playing at the collegiate level and teaching PE over 15 years.  She currently works full time as an IPTPA teaching pro at the Pickleball Zone in Bend.
